I find this vintage French book on the Sahara Desert spellbinding. Published in 1958 ‘Sahara a l’heure de la decourverte’ by Charles-Henri Favrod and Yvan Dalain, tells all about life and industry in the Sahara and is illustrated with lush black and white photographs.
